This is a chair-based Yoga class, suitable for older people and/or those with limited movement for whom a floor-based exercise class is unpractical. This class is done sitting in, and if appropriate, supported by a chair. These classes include these elements:
• exercising mindfully to strengthen and stretch within your comfortable range of movement
• breath work exercises to calm the nervous system to aid relaxation and improve sleep
• guided relaxation and a short meditation at the end of class to work with body and mind to receive all the benefits Yoga has to offer
Modifications and variations will be given to make exercises appropriate for all present. Evercreech Village Hall is suitable for wheel chair users with an entrance ramp and disabled toilet. There are parking spaces at the front and rear of the hall.
Please wear comfortable layers that allow you to move freely and adjust your temperature. If you have been advised to carry any medication on your person, please bring it to class and advise the teacher of where it can be found.
If you have not already completed my 'BWY health questionnaire', please compete and return the health questionnaire found in the 'event attachments'. You can complete the Word version and return it to me via e-mail prior to attending, or print the .pdf version and bring it with you to the first session. If this is not possible, I will have paper forms available at the first class (please arrive in time to complete the form).

This ticket books your place for the single class date selected at £10/class. If you select 7 or more dates, by clicking on 'select more', to choose your dates from the schedule, and choose single class tickets for each date, a 10% discount will be applied at check out, reducing the per-class fee to £9/class.
