Kum Nye exercises work to unite awareness of physical body, subtle body (or Ku) and mind through mindfulness of breath and sensations. As understanding and experience deepen with practice, this Tibetan ‘Kum Nye’ yoga loosens the practitioner’s long-held tensions and habitual tendencies to enable deeper levels of relaxation and profound awareness of ‘mind.’ This class includes periods of exercise and sitting meditation.
Please arrive in the Miracles Room between 11.05 - 11.15 am ready to begin the session at 11.20 am. NB the class on 14 November will be at the alternative venue of the Nolava Room in Goddess House, 28 Magdalene Street, Glastonbury BA6 9EJ. Please also note that my Yoga class prior to this Kum Nye class finishes at 11 am so please do not enter the room until after this first class has finished. Please bring your own Yoga mat and meditation cushion (if you have them) and a blanket. Some meditation cushions are available at the venue. Health questionnaire's will be available at the first session or you can download in advance from the course documents, print and complete at home and bring to your first class. If you have already completed a questionnaire for a Yoga class with me, there is no need to complete another form for Kum Nye.
