JOINING INFORMATION

We are very lucky to have our venue at Hunters Lodge Riding School, Hunston and the owners are very supportive of our plans for the future and development of the club.

Directions:-
The postcode for the venue is PO20 1NR. The entrance is well sign posted and coming from Chichester is just past the 30mph signs and you turn right into the entrance which is by the big white house which has a venue details on the wall. The proceed through the wooden gates. Please shut the gates behind you but do not lock the gate by the black box lock. Then drive into the car park.

The venue is the big green riding school on your left as you drive in. The venue does obviously have horses on site therefore could you please always keep you dog on the lead outside the barn.

Entrance into the venue is through the big middle doors in the centre of the barn as you approach the riding school. We will be there to meet you.

Please arrive 15mins before your session time is due to start. We would appreciate assistance in the putting out of any equipment as this will enable the class to start promptly. Also at the end of the evening if you could help us to pack the equipment away so as we can leave the venue as quick as possible as the venue have requested that we leave the site as promptly as possible when the sessions have finished.

Please wear appropriate shoes. We all wear trainers/running shoes that have a good grip on the soles.

Bring enough treats and water for your dog and a toy preferably a tuggy toy.

There are no poo bins on site. We would ask that you pick up after your dog and dispose of any poo on the way home. It is always a good idea to try and let your dog relieve themselves prior to training.

This is a completely different environment for your dog who will be very excited. As trainers we completely understand this and we see this as a positive and the energy just needs to be directed.
We would however ask that you dog has good manners with other handlers and their dogs. If you feel that your dog can be a bit nervous around dogs or other people please keep a good distance.

It doesn’t matter if they do “zoomies or " they haven’t got a sit and wait” , This will improve with us over their training. We may at times ask you to keep your dog on the lead whilst trying the equipment.
