Yoga twice daily, with morning meditation, pranayama and evening gentle and restorative practice. Relax by the pool, enjoy the local sights or book a treatment.
Surrounded by nature
In Sabina, a simple and elegant retreat in the heart of the Sabine Hills, offers a magical setting. Less than an hour north of Rome near Umbria, In Sabina lies in the midst of the untouched Italian country side. The property is peaceful and rustic, offering a haven for spiritual practice, relaxation and rejuvenation. The retreat’s land is extensive, where you can take in stunning sunsets and nature walks. It also features lovely gardens, a natural hot spring, pond and swimming pool.
Relaxed living
The morning will begin with pranayama, meditation and flowing asana practice (suitable for all levels), held outdoors on the magnificent wooden yoga platform overlooking the lush valley. The late-afternoon session will be a combination of yin, restorative postures and relaxation. Three delicious Italian-vegetarian meals will be served daily. On one evening, we will have dinner out at a local restaurant*.
You are free to spend the days enjoying the grounds, book a massage and day-trip excursions are also available. The chef may even put on an Italian cookery lesson!
Accommodation
The exquisitely restored and converted 17th century stone buildings overlook a panorama of olive groves and fruit trees. The rooms are designed in a simple, natural style, with a combination of new and antique furnishings. 4 rooms include en-suite. Yurt accommodation in the gardens are also available. The yurts have an outdoor shower and shared bathroom facility.
Your stay is inclusive of your accomodation, yoga and meals. Transfers, flights day trips. treatments and meals out are not included. Terms and conditions apply.
Yoga equipment is available to borrow at the venue, although you are welcome to bring your own.
You may also like to bring a pool towel, mosquito repellant, Sun cream, a hat, yoga clothes, outfit for an evening out, long sleeved top.
A little money may be needed if you choose to go out on a day trip and join the evening meal out. Treatments are not included in the price and are roughly 80 euro each pp.
