Coaching CPD: Core Skills - Passing

Join us for our first Coaching CPD of the 26/27 season, as we look at Core Skills in adult grassroots football.

Core Skill: Passing
Focus: Developing players' ability to pass accurately, with appropriate weight and timing, while recognising when, where and why to pass.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, coaches should be able to:

• Identify key technical details that support effective passing and receiving.
• Adapt practices using constraints, progressions and regressions to meet the needs of individual players.
• Connect passing to the game, helping players understand that successful passing involves perception, decision-making, movement and execution.
• Linking passing practices to real game situations.

When: Tuesday 6th October 2026
Time: 7.00 - 9.30pm
