Mindful Monday Meditation: Attendee Instructions
Welcome to the Mindful Monday Meditation group! Here’s how to prepare for a fulfilling and peaceful session:
Before the Session:
Register: Ensure you have registered for the Zoom session. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.
Set Up Your Space: Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed during the meditation. You may want to dim the lights, use a comfortable chair or cushion, and have a blanket handy if you get cold.
Gather Supplies: Consider having a journal and pen nearby for reflections after the meditation. If you have crystals or calming essential oils, you might like to use them during the session.
Join Early: Aim to join the Zoom meeting 5 minutes before the start time to ensure you’re settled and ready.
During the Session:
Mute Yourself: Please keep your microphone muted to minimize background noise. You can unmute if you have a question or wish to share at the end.
Camera On/Off: Feel free to keep your camera on if you’re comfortable, as it helps create a sense of community. However, if you prefer privacy, it's okay to keep it off.
Be Present: Try to be fully present during the meditation. If thoughts arise, acknowledge them and gently bring your focus back to the meditation.
Engage Respectfully: Respect others’ space and experiences. Avoid distractions, and if you need to leave the session early, please do so quietly.
After the Session:
Reflection: Take a few moments to journal about your experience. What did you feel? What insights did you gain?
Feedback: Feel free to share any thoughts or experiences in the chat or verbally at the end of the session.
