Details

The ARC MASTERS ENSEMBLE is a program of acting workshops primarily developed for senior adults who want to take a creative adventure, enhancing their sense of self through dramatic play. From 2020, younger people can join the program but should realise that the workshops are devised primarily for seniors and middle aged participants.

Explore your personal potential through voice, movement, story, improvisation, script analysis and scene work to develop your personal actor's technique. In Dec 2019, the performance of ITHACA, a postmodern, contemporary exploration of the women in Homer's The Odyssey and personal story, wowed audiences. In 2020 we begin the year exploring acting for Realism before diving deep into Shakespeare and performance, embracing spoken and physical language in a metamorphosizing way.

No experience is necessary, only a willingness to explore. Physical limitations are taken into account in every class.
Within a fun, safe and inclusive environment you will be encouraged to make new discoveries about yourself that promote personal artistry and identity through acting technique, storytelling, memory, physical activity and joy.
