Levels of depression, violence and suicide in men are very high. What are the causes of this? How, as practitioners, can we engage effectively with men and support them?
This is an experiential training. Participants will be introduced to a range of methods and approaches which they may wish to explore further. Simple tools and ideas to engage more effectively with men will also be shared for immediate take-away and practical application.
The training includes personal reflection, group and pair work, poetry & story.

Seventeen years of men's work experience.
Four years as facilitator trainer for an online men's group organisation.
Co-facilitator on "Lives of Quiet Desperation", a two-day NICP accredited course.
Ten years experiene of working with male perpetrators of domestic abuse.
Lee is on the leadership team for Mandorla (mandorla.uk) and the Kingfisher Project (kingfisherproject.org.uk) - organisations delivering rites of passage events for men and boys.
