Join Lou Mclean for a day of experiments in songwriting! With a focus on lyric-writing, we will use a variety of fun songwriting games/techniques to spend time writing and performing our own brand-new songs. For ages 12 to 24. 10 places available.
We are hosting a gig on the Friday (20th Feb) at the Legion in Dunbar and a few slots at the gig will be available for participants at this songwriting workshop.
By the end of this course students will:
Have a variety of songwriting tools and techniques to use in their own practice
Have the skills to create simple songs
Have the confidence to create their own songs
Have an understanding of experimental lyric writing techniques
Bring your creativity, your instrument and a pack lunch!
