BABIES CAN PLAY AND SPACE
Weekly sessions for under-18 months are now being held in various Playcentres throughout the Canterbury region, focusing on learning through sensory play, stories and music, while also providing a supportive environment for whānau
Facilitators lead the sessions providing opportunities to share and discuss the development of infants and keeping the session relevant to the group.
Our sessions can run from 10 to 40 weeks depending on session starting times, not including school holiday periods.
Babies Can Play and Space offers:
THE GIFT OF TIME TO PLAY AND ENJOY EACH OTHER IN A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT.
Mana...learning and development - Opportunities for infants to learn through sensory play, music and stories, with the support of their whānau and parents as first educators to ensure they become capable and confident learners.
Manaaki...support - Share your journey into parenthood, supporting and learning from other's whānau and parents alongside our experienced facilitators so you can gain confidence in parenting and build up a strong social network.
Whanaungatanga...fun - Within a safe and friendly environment, babies, whānau and parents are provided with interesting equipment, music and stories. Your involvement as a parent will make your child's learning experience much richer.

Programme Fee:
If you wish to book into a programme and do not have a credit/debit card OR want to apply for a WINZ Childcare Assistance subsidy OR need to arrange a payment plan, please contact Louise: Louise.Groufsky@playcentre.org.nz
To make a booking click on the desired programme, select, proceed, book now and complete details requested. If your baby is not born yet write TBA. The booking you make reserves your place for the duration of the programme.

To Book 'click' on the programme you want below, click 'select' on the programme fee option you want, then click 'view selection', 'book now' and complete the details requested. Please only select multiple tickets for multiple babies under the same carer (attendee). If booking for a friend complete a separate booking. If the programme you want to join is fully booked please join the wait list; click on the session you want then click 'Join Wait List' and fill in the details.
All places are non refundable - Playcentre Aotearoa is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of, or the entire programme. It may be possible to attend an alternative session but this is dependent upon availability and must be arranged with Programme Co-ordinator: Louise.Groufsky@playcentre.org.nz
WAIT LISTS - If the programme you want to join is fully booked you can join the wait list - please click on the session you want to join below, then click the Join Wait List box and fill in the details. If the wait list becomes numerous we are often able to start another group, please register on the wait list so we can see who is waiting to join.
