4624 Sports Psychology - Passion, Principles, Purpose & Profiling

Thursday, 2 November '17   11am – 1pm GMT
Beechwood Equestrian Centre, Rettendon Common, Chelmsford, CM3 8DY

Details

As a coach, you are a primary influence on your rider’s success; and you will bring your own unique style to your coaching. This workshop combines sport psychology and leadership principles to explore the characteristics and behaviours of effective coaching.
"Why do you coach the way you do? What motivates you to coach, and what purpose and principles drive your coaching style, day-to-day?
You will be encouraged to reflect on and develop your own coaching philosophy. A philosophy that is an essential ingredient to how you coach, interact with others, and make decisions. It will become your ‘Unique Selling Point’, and define the legacy you leave as a coach. You will also be guided through how to create a coaching performance profile: to identify your coaching strengths, development areas, and a plan to advance your coaching practice.
Whilst workshops often focus on rider development, this interactive session will allow you to indulge in valuable personal reflection and development. You’ll leave this workshop equipped with enhanced self-awareness of your coaching philosophy and your ‘USP’; a clearer vision of your future self; and a development plan to maximise your coaching effectiveness."
