YOGA NIDRA & SOUND BATH | Autumn Equinox

Details

As the Autumn Equinox brings day and night into balance, join us for an evening of rest, sound, and gentle reflection.

We'll begin with a short guided yoga nidra β€” a soft descent into stillness β€” before moving into a live sound journey with crystal singing bowls, gong, buffalo and ocean drum, and Koshi chimes. There's nothing to do but receive.

As autumn's harvest gives way to the quieter, darker half of the year, this session offers a moment to notice what you've gathered through the year so far, and what you're ready to lay gently down.

We'll close together with herbal tea and card-pulling - a simple, unhurried way to carry a little reflection with you as you leave.

No experience necessary. Just bring yourself, and something comfortable to rest in.

Instructions

Arrival

Please arrive 10 minutes early. This gives you time to settle in, get comfortable, and arrive fully before we begin β€” latecomers may find it difficult to join once the session starts, as doors will be locked and entry cannot be permitted as we move quickly into stillness.

What to bring

Comfortable, loose clothing you can rest in for the full session
Additional blanket or extra layer if you would like β€” the body cools down during deep relaxation

Mats, cushions, eye masks and blankets will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

What to expect

You'll be lying down (or seated, if that's more comfortable for you) for most of the session. We'll begin with a short guided rest, move into a live sound journey with singing bowls, gong, drums and chimes, and close together with herbal tea and a small reflective ritual. There's nothing you need to do but arrive and receive.

Please let us know in advance if any of the following apply to you

Sound healing is generally safe and gentle, but a few conditions need a little extra care or, in some cases, mean the session isn't suitable:

  • Pregnancy β€” particularly the first trimester
  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders
  • A pacemaker or other implanted electronic medical device
  • Significant hearing sensitivity, hyperacusis, or tinnitus
  • Migraine that can be triggered by sound or vibration
  • Recent surgery
  • Any other significant medical condition you feel we should know about

If any of these apply to you, please get in touch before the session so we can talk it through together - this isn't about excluding anyone, just making sure the experience is safe and right for you.

During the session

You're free to move, adjust your position, sit up, or step out at any point if something doesn't feel right. This is your time β€” there's no right way to experience it.

A gentle note for afterwards

Sound healing can bring up a range of responses β€” deep relaxation, emotional release, or simply a good rest. Please allow yourself a little time after the session before rushing back into your day, and do drink plenty of water.

If you have any questions at all before the session, don't hesitate to reach out.
