NEW ADVENTURE ALERT! Isle of Mull Adventure (966ft). Minibus Transport, Ferry, Accommodation & Guide Included. Plus a wildlife boat tour to the small Island of Staffa - keep an eye out for dolphins, porpoises, minke whales and the puffins that live on the island!

Difficulty: Challenging - This hike is a long distance with scrambly terrain, if you are unsure of please speak with us.

Discover the stunning landscapes, wildlife and culture of the Isle of Mull on this multi-day adventure. Known for its rugged coastline, historic sites and abundant wildlife, Mull offers a unique escape from the mainland. This trip includes guided hikes to explore the island’s diverse terrain, from coastal paths to hilltop views, as well as visits to picturesque villages, castles and wildlife hotspots.

Our qualified guides will share insights about Mull’s natural wonders and local history, making this an immersive experience for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

Day 1:

Departure - Morning minibus journey from Manchester to the west coast of Scotland.
Ferry to Mull - Scenic ferry ride with views over the Sound of Mull.
Arrival in Craignure - Pitch up for a goods night rest ready for tomorrows hike.

Day 2:

Ben More Ascent - Hike to Mull’s highest peak, Ben More (966m), with breathtaking views of the islands and mainland (approx. 8km, 5-6 hours).

Day 3:

Drive around the tourist spots with a coastal walk - Opportunities to see seals and sea birds. Visit to the colourful town of Tobermory the island's biggest town. Wildlife boat trip to the Island of Staffa. (Tickets included in the price)

Day 4:

Ferry & Return Journey - Afternoon ferry back to the mainland and minibus journey home.

We will start from Manchester, drive into Scotland for the Ferry to the Isle of Arran, we'll stay 3 nights camping.

Camping - *Pitch Included in price - Showers and toilets.

Height: 966m

Distance - 10km

Time Hiking - 6 hours

Please note: Ben More is a large mountain, it is a challenging walk and a good level of fitness is required. (Similar to Scafell Pike) This hike is not for beginners.

What do I need to bring?

Try to pack these items into a maximum of two bags as the minibus may be full, things may get a little cramped. We have a max of 10 people for our 16-seat bus for comfort.

For the Weekend:

  • Change of clothes

  • Toiletries

  • Money for food/drinks (when in town)

  • Swimwear if you want to brave the cold Scottish waters

For the hike:

  • Backpack (20-40 litre max)

  • Waterproof Jacket and pants

  • Walking Boots/Shoes (trainers as last option)

  • Walking trousers/shorts (No Jeans)

  • Fleece

  • Warm Jacket

  • Gloves

  • Hat

  • Food (sandwiches are ideal)

  • Snacks

  • Flask with a hot drink

  • Water (minimum 1 litre)

  • Personal First Aid/medication

For camping:

  • Cooker (We will bring a large cooker to boil water for everyone)

  • Bowl, plate, cup and cutlery

  • Sleeping bag (We rent these at a small cost)

  • Sleeping mat (We rent these at a small cost)

  • Tent (We rent these at a small cost)

  • Food, tea, coffee, sugar etc

  • Warm clothes

  • Torch

We have spare kit that we can lend and rent to you if you may need, just let us know before the event so we can arrange it.

TBC - Arrive at Broddick, Arran

Day 2

Ben More Hiking Day

08:00 - Depart from camp for the start of a spectacular hike!

17:00 - Aim to finish the hike

17:15 - Eat and explore the local town

19:00 - Head back to campsite

Day 3

09:00 - Leave Campsite to explore the Island

Day 4

TBC Return home

If you can't afford the full £315 right away choose this option. You can pay in installments of 3 or 6 months. Bookings for this trip are Non-refundable unless you can sell your ticket on due to the advanced ferry, campsite, and tour booking.
