Reversible Tote or Treat Bag! - For Beginners - Ages 17 and up

Join Jana to make the perfect bag for trick-or-treating or daily use! You will learn how to make a corner fold boxed bottom bag, how to create your own handles, tips on topstitching, and how to make a bag reversible.
This is a great class to take after our 101 Crash Course. You learned the basics of how to thread and operate your machine in 101, so now it's time to tackle another project with a few more techniques! Jana will be there to guide you if you need a refresher on how to setup your machine.

We strongly recommend you complete Intro to Sewing 101: Crash Course or have equivalent experience before taking this class or any of our other machine sewing classes.

Supplies:

• Two 1/2yd fabric pieces, one for each side of the bag
• 1 yd Shapeflex or other mid-weight fusible interfacing
• Coordinating or contrasting thread
• Sewing machine in working order with power cord, foot control, and included accessories. Please email beehiveclasses@gmail.com to let us know if you need to borrow one of our machines.
• Ruler
• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter
• Snips or small scissors
• Clips or Pins
• Removable fabric marking tool

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time.
o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
