This stylish any gender button down shirt features long sleeves with cuff, front and back yoke, front patch pockets with button closure, and the choice between a banded or pointed collar. You’ll love wearing this cool shirt year round!
This project is for a confident beginner. You are able to use a sewing machine and sew a straight or curved line, and have made some basic projects. If you need assistance reading a pattern, prepping it for construction, or grading and altering your pattern, we can schedule you for a one-on-one lesson ahead of time to help you prepare. Supplies:
-Simplicity 9858 pattern included. Your paper pattern size should be cut out prior to class. (Recommended: trace the pattern before cutting out your size. Refer above if you need assistance with this step.)
-Pre-washed fabric. Fabric yardage depends on size. This pattern can be made with a variety of fabrics depending on the desired effect. For a more structured shape, use light to medium weight wovens such as linen, cotton shirting or lawn, denim, corduroy, or chambray. For a softer shape, use rayon challis, sateen, or silks.
-1.5yd Fusible woven interfacing like Pellon Shapeflex
-Eleven 1/2” buttons
-Coordinating thread
-Buttonhole presser foot
-Point turner
-Fabric scissors or rotary cutter, mat, and pattern weights
-Removable marking tool
-Small scissors or snips
-Seam ripper
-Pins or clips

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 4 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time if there is a student or teacher requesting masks.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
