Kids Beginner Workshop - Tote Bags - Ages 8 and up

Beehive Craft Studio’s Beginner Workshop is a great way for your student to grow their sewing skills! We will refresh our knowledge of sewing machine safety, how to thread their machine and wind a bobbin, how to sew a straight line and turn corners, etc. Students will be working on making Tote Bags with Pockets.

Saturday, March 16 from 10-1pm
$75, supplies included.
Students may bring their working sewing machine from home, or borrow a machine from Beehive.

*If you are unable to attend a class due to a conflict, please notify Beehive 48 hours prior to the event to schedule a make-up class.

Teacher: Kim Place. Kim has been teaching sewing lessons in the Austin area since 2017. Her passion for teaching, sewing and textiles drove her to found Beehive Craft Studio and share her skills with others.

Ages 8 and up.

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o COVID Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that health conditions would make attending class dangerous for teachers and students. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time.
o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
