Cielo Boxy Top - Adult Workshop - Ages 17 and up - For Confident Beginners

Start your me-made wardrobe journey with the Cielo Top by Closet Core! The pattern features a slightly dropped shoulder, angled shoulder yoke and a roomy fit. You will learn how to sew darts, cuffed short sleeves, and a neckline facing. At the end of this class, you'll have a wardrobe staple and the skills to make more!

This project is for a beginner. You are able to use a sewing machine and sew a straight line. If you need additional help with reading a pattern and prepping it for construction, take a look at our Garment Patterns Decoded Class.

Supplies:

• Cielo Top Pattern is included. Your paper pattern size should be cut out prior to class. (Recommended: trace the pattern before cutting out your size. Refer above if you need assistance with this step.)
• Pre washed and dried fabric. Recommended fabrics are lightweight cotton woven, linen, chambray for a more structured shape or rayon challis, cotton voile, or satin for a drapier look. Fabric yardage depends on size and style of dress chosen; the instructor will contact to confirm the amount based on size.
• Lightweight fusible interfacing
• Coordinating thread
• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter, mat, and pattern weights
• Marking Tool
• Measuring Tape
• Small scissors or snips
• Straight pins
• Seam gauge

Optional:

• Serger
• Four cones matching serger thread

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 4 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time if there is a student or teacher requesting masks.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
