Patchwork Boot Stocking! - Ages 17 and up - For Strong Beginners

Bring a little western charm to your holiday decor with this cowboy boot stocking! It’s a beginner-friendly pattern where you can dip your toe into patchwork projects. Jana will guide you through all the steps including cutting, piecing, and creating a bag lining for your stocking. This is the perfect opportunity to play with pattern mixing and use up your fabric scraps!

Supply List:
You can use as few as two fabrics for a checkerboard look or as many as you like for a random effect. The sample used 10 different fabrics for the patchwork.

• 1/2 yard of outside patchwork fabrics (split between different patterns - each piece of fabric must be at least a 4"x4" square. If you're not sure where to start, pick out four fat quarters and you'll have plenty to work with.)
• 1/2 yard of lining fabric
• 1/2 yard fusible fleece
• Coordinating thread
• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter and mat
• Ruler
• Removable marking tool
• Pins or clips

Optional:

• 1/4" Patchwork presser foot

Please be sure you have a working sewing machine that has been used within the last 3 months. Please reach out to beehiveclasses@gmail.com if you need to borrow a machine for class!

CLASS POLICIES

o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
