Elodie Wrap Dress - Adult Workshop - Ages 17 and up - For Confident Beginners

Jana will walk you through creating this wardrobe staple using the Elodie Wrap Dress pattern by Closet Core. Mix and match short or elbow length dolman sleeves with three skirt lengths: above the knee, midi, or maxi with optional patch pockets. You’ll leave class with an adorable dress that you’ll want to remake again and again for different occasions!
This project is for a confident beginner. You are able to use a sewing machine, sew a straight or curved line, and have made some basic projects. If you need additional help with reading a pattern and prepping it for construction, take a look at our Garment Patterns Decoded Class!

Supplies:

• Elodie Dress Pattern is included. Your paper pattern size should be cut out prior to class. (Recommended: trace the pattern before cutting out your size. Refer above if you need assistance with this step.)
• Pre-washed and dried fabric. Recommended fabrics are light to medium weight wovens like cotton, linen, and chambray for a more casual feel or a drapey woven like rayon challis, viscose, or satin for a more fluid effect. Fabric yardage depends on size and style of dress chosen; the instructor will contact to confirm the amount based on size.
• Lightweight fusible interfacing
• Coordinating thread
• Fabric scissors or rotary cutter, mat, and pattern weights
• Marking Tool
• Point turner
• Hand sewing needle
• Measuring Tape
• Small scissors or snips
• Straight pins
• Seam gauge

Optional:

• Serger
• Four cones matching serger thread

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 4 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time if there is a student or teacher requesting masks.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
