Intro to Quilting! - Ages 17 and up - For Beginners

Have you always been quilt-curious, but not sure where to start? This class is perfect for you! JoAnna will guide you through the cutting and piecing of squares and half square triangles along with basic quilting. You’ll turn your finished quilted piece into a fun and functional tote bag that you can carry around to show off your new skills!

This class is for beginners who understand the basics of sewing machine threading and operation. If you are interested in quilting, but need to learn machine basics, look at our Intro to Sewing 101: Crash Course or contact beehiveclasses@gmail.com to setup a private lesson before class.

Supplies:

• Fabric and batting is included!
• Sewing machine in good working order or email beehiveclasses@gmail.com to borrow one of ours
• Neutral thread (medium grey or tan)

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
