Join this lovely in person Baby Massage course to receive reminder videos to keep for practicing at home plus:
• Learn safe and relaxing baby massage strokes in a relaxed, friendly environment
• Explore the emotional and physical benefits for babies and parents
• Help strengthen & soothe your baby’s digestive system
• Facilitate language development with simple songs
• Enjoy breathing awareness and a little stretching for parents/carers
• Explore relevant parent and baby topics like teething & colicky behaviour
Refreshments and chat at the end.
Please ensure your baby has had a hip check. If unsure, please contact us.
Parent & Baby are usually on the floor.
Choose and bring a massage oil or cream (or simply massage your baby 'dry')
Please bring an exercise Mat and something soft for your baby to lie on
Bring a soft towel to place under your baby to mop up any excess massage oil
Consider bringing a favourite toy or 2
The room should be warm but babies don't need to be naked, you can simply uncover each body area in turn as the massage progresses
Babies often need feeds & changes during the class; crying is very normal. Please feel relaxed and stop to attend to your baby whenever needed. Remember to bring any feeding or changing supplies you might need. You can feed & change in the room on your mat, or make use of the changing facilities.
