Sarah is an NCT Affiliate. She is trained and licensed by NCT but operates this course independently of NCT. She is also Peter Walker trained too

Join this lovely inperson Baby Massage course (NCT Affiliated) to receive reminder videos to keep for practicing at home; a digital prompt chart, plus:

• Learn safe and relaxing baby massage strokes in a relaxed, friendly environment
• Explore the emotional and physical benefits for babies and parents
• Help strengthen your baby’s digestive system
• Facilitate language development with singing, scarves and toys
• Enjoy breathing awareness and stretching for parents/carers
• Explore relevant parent and baby topics like teething, tummy time & colicky behaviour

Refreshments and chat at the end.

Minimum of 5 bookings per course needed to run. We will let you know 1 week before course is due to start if more bookings are needed. Transfer to another course or full refund if the course can't run.

Instructions

Please ensure your baby has had a hip check. If unsure, please contact Sarah.

Parent & Baby are usually on the floor

  • Choose and bring a massage oil or cream (or simply massage your baby 'dry')
  • Mats are provided, please consider bringing something soft for you to sit on and your baby to lie on
  • Bring a soft towel to place under your baby to mop up any excess massage oil
  • Consider bringing a favourite toy or 2
  • The room should be warm but babies don't need to be naked, you can simply uncover each body area in turn as the massage progresses
  • Babies often need feeds & changes during the class; crying is very normal. Please feel relaxed and stop to attend to your baby whenever needed. Remember to bring any feeding or changing supplies you might need. You can feed & change in the room on your mat, or make use of the changing facilities or side areas to main room for feeds.
