Details

Join us for an exciting and inspirational double reed instrument event with Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Open to all bassoon, cor anglais and oboe players Grade 1 and above, this event will consist of a variety of activities in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Participants will have the opportunity to join in with fun and engaging warm up activities, masterclasses and instrument specific workshop activities. All this will culminate with a short, relaxed concert, where participants will play massed ensemble pieces alongside staff and students from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Led by Jenni Phillips, Nikolaj Henriques, Anna Cooper and students from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, the evening is designed to support and stretch players of any level. Why not take part, meet other double reed instrument players and explore new ways to enhance your technique – scales don’t have to be boring!

Please indicate on the booking form if you wish to be considered to play in the masterclass. Please note spaces are very limited and priority will be given to older students.
