You want to start being creative? This workshop is for you!
Kathy Barber hosts a fun and supportive opportunity to discover hidden talents and develop creative interests in a like-minded group.
Using groups of still life objects students will begin with a series of quick sketches to warm up and get into the mindset of observation and sketching. This will be repeated for longer intervals to build confidence. There will be group discussions about these fun exercises.
The first day concludes by looking at negative and positive space. This will flow over into the second day as we look at observation drawing from still life objects.
This workshop is for students who want to put pencil to paper and explore. Through the simple act of observation and drawing, students will grow in confidence and ability. There is no pressure and no experience necessary, just come along and enjoy yourself.
