Summer Jumble with Zoë Nash
Join multi-disciplinary artist, Zoë Nash, for this mixed media, two-day intensive workshop that visually celebrates the colours and vibrancy of summer. Students will be introduced to a range of acrylic painting techniques as well as looking at combining wet and dry materials. We’ll explore blending, layering, how to create washes and stains, the addition of texture, how to make glazes, and lots of innovative mark making techniques. Tips for enhanced composition and communication will also be briefly covered. This weekend course will definitely provide you with a boost of creative energy as we head towards the summer break.
Summer Jumble is suitable for both absolute beginners as well as those with some experience. By the end of the weekend each student will have a small body of work ready to take away, and lots of inspiration to continue beyond the classroom.
A basic kit of materials to get you up and going is listed here. Specialist art shops are the best
option and will provide student discounts if you mention that you are attending the school.
