This course is for emerging artists wanting to further their understanding of the contemporary art industries in Aotearoa/New Zealand, and how to more strategically develop their careers within it. At the completion of the course participants will gain a more informed ability to:
articulate their practice in speech and text
professionally present their work to a variety of audiences (online and in-person)
understand where they fit in the industry
navigate their next steps to develop their careers
The course is comprised of presentations that cover general principles, the analysis of industry examples, and space for questions and open discussion.
