Explorations in Paint with Zoë Nash
This 4 x sessions short course introduces students to a range of innovative mark-making, painting and drawing techniques using acrylic paint.
With a focus on play, and the concept of experimentation and exploration without expectation, we’ll examine how to apply paint in a variety of both traditional and non-traditional ways.
Content includes: making your marks with both brush applications and random, everyday objects, fluidity with a focus on wet into wet paint and the addition of water, creating impasto, simple glazing, and how to work with acrylic mediums and other additives.
