Are you frustrated by your [non]-painting practice? Then this workshop could be the prescription you need!
During this summer workshop you will be encouraged to engage in a visual voyage of discovery, to accept and embrace mistakes as an essential element in creative development, and to [re]-ignite the joy of painting.
Working from your own imagery as a reference [portraits, landscapes or abstract], you will be supported and enlightened by your tutor. We will look at processes, technical short-cuts and tricks, so as to overcome technical problems as they arise and to better understand your media.
If you are beginning painting for the first time, you will be provided with working strategies that will help you gain a greater sense of confidence in your ideas and development. For more advanced painters, this workshop will provide time to develop current concerns, or to explore new avenues for further consideration. A workshop for all levels of experience.
