Guided by artist Toni Mosley, you'll explore a variety of transfer techniques using different media and tools — including methods that involve solvents, as well as solvent-free options. These approaches open up exciting possibilities for texture, layering, and visual storytelling.
The techniques covered in this course are best suited for paper-based work, making it ideal for artists interested in mixed media, collage, or experimental drawing.
All levels welcome.

Students to bring:
Paper (this can be a variety of papers, even old artworks)
High Contrast Photocopies: (laser printed not ink jet)
These work best if printed from the counter at Stationary Warehouse on Text & graphics 100gsm paper
Apron
Nitrile gloves to protect yourself from the different products used to create images.
Any drawing or paint materials you want to bring (pencils (reg or colour), watercolours, etc..)
Provided:
All materials to use for image transfer.
Some photocopies will be provided and available to use.
At Browne School of Art we also have a selection of basic materials available for purchase: paper in A1 / A2 sheets: newsprint, cartridge, sugar grey, wet strength, bulldog clips, pencils, charcoal, erasers, white chalk, black ink.
