As part of our programme of monthly well-being activities, come and join us for a health walk and mindfulness practice from 'Hot Numbers' Cafe on Trumpington Road. Learn mindfulness techniques that have been shown to help combat stress, anxiety and depression with our mindfulness leader before heading off on a led walk around the local area. No matter your walking speed, you are welcome to take part and have a chat with those also attending. This circular led walk will be around 2/3km in length and will take you back to the cafe for a free hot drink at the end. It is NOT suited to anybody who uses a walking aid.
This activity has been provided thanks to funding from the Public Health team at Cambridgeshire County Council, as part of a county-wide, Healthy Weights project. This project is being managed by the Active Lifestyles Team at Cambridge City Council and is being run in partnership with the Healthy You initiative and the local social prescribing team.
