This 5 week meditation course is designed to help you explore different styles of meditation and find ways to take you from overwhelm to an inner calm.
This course will help you to learn how to meditate and guide you to cultivate your own meditation practice to take forward with you. Each week we will explore a different style of secular meditation, helping you to develop your practice from scratch (or go deeper) and find different ways to help you find stillness and calm.
Meditations will include, Mindfulness, Mantra, Breathing exercises, Visualisation, Compassion practices and more.
Each week we will introduce new mediation styles and look at some important foundations of meditation that we can also integrate into our daily lives. These will form our themes each week and will include:
Awareness and presence
Beginning again
Acceptance
Letting be & letting go
Compassion and gratitude.
Recordings will be sent following each session and the teacher will be available for questions in helping you to develop your meditation practice between classes. You will also be encouraged to keep a meditation journal throughout the course, to help you commit to your practice.
When we start to meditate on a regular basis, we make lasting changes to our brain and it is then that we can really begin to change our behaviour, thought patters and resilience.
