This course requires some 'at home' study that MUST be completed before attending the first practical day of training. Our online platform will take you through the health and safety and anatomy and physiology information that is really important to build a foundation for your professional facial learning.
Access to our online resource will be provided as soon as your booking has been accepted.

Completing this theory work online allows us to focus on practical Work during the face-to-face sessions, as we build onto your knowledge.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Facials are great treatments to provide to clients. In this course you will gain a thorough knowledge of different skin types and cleansers, toners, moisturisers and exfoliants to use on them. You will steam skin, when safe to do so, and then extract blackheads, helping those struggling with congested skin. This is an interesting course that will qualify you to offer professional facial treatments.

There are therapists now who specialise in facials and this is a growing market. Some people take this course and then go on to develop their facial provision with microdermabrasion and facial electrical equipment, laser, etc. We also offer training at Level 3 - Facial Electrotherapy.

Our qualified and very experienced tutor will share her in-depth knowledge with you, providing you with knowledge, skills and confidence.

On the LEVEL 2 FACIAL SKINCARE AWARD you will be taught:
*How to set up a treatment area
*How to consult with a client
*What tools to select and how to use them
*About maintaining and improving facial skin condition using exfoliation, skin warming, blackhead extraction, facial massage, mask treatments and facial moisturising products
*Anatomy, physiology and pathologies, relating to skin and the face
*Health and safety

This VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) qualification is recognised around the world and will allow you to be employed in a clinic, salon or allow you to set up your own business.
