Details

Mesopotamia, the land “between two rivers”- present day Iraq - was home to ancient the Sumerians, Babylonians, and Assyrians. We are going to look at a few images of some relief works from that period, think about possible interpretations of their meaning, make copies or use the same style but with content more relevant to the present day.

The workshop is intended for all levels of experience.

We will sculpt it in clay, which will be fired once it’s dried out. All materials included.

One hour break. Tea / coffee provided. Food not provided.
