Details

In this 5-week hand building class we'll focus on making functional objects that will elevate your bathroom, bedroom, office and kitchen!

You will explore techniques such as slab building, coiling and surface decoration. Learning to use all these techniques will help build your familiarity and skills in working with clay as a material, and give you the expertise you need to create beautiful ceramics of your own.

Each week there will be a demonstration with a focus on building your skills. As we move through the course, you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas, and Estefany will help you bring these to life!

This course is suited to beginners, and can be tailored to suit those who have some experience working with clay.

Clay and tools will need to be purchased for this class, and firings are paid separately.

Instructions

  • Clay and tools will need to be purchased for this class, and firings are paid separately.
  • Class will start promptly at 6:30pm. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes early to get set up and settled in ready for the class. Please be aware that parking can be limited - first in first served!
  • Please bring your own apron and an old towel to class. You are also able to hire an apron and towel for a $10 laundering fee.
  • Finished work will be available to collect 3 - 4 weeks after your course. We will send you an email when your work is ready to pick up.
