Heroes and Handbuilding

Create a coil-built vessel based on ancient Greek pottery forms and using underglaze colours, paint on your hero imagery which can be either based on myths or on personal heroes.

Students will learn how to build a vessel using coils, and then how to trace their image onto the vessel and paint with underglaze colours, as well as using sgraffito to add details to their drawings.
