Improvers Throwing Larger Wheel Course Saturday 14th November 10.30am-4.30pm

LEVEL 2: Beginners+/Improvers 1-2kgs (those who have done 1 or 2 courses with 10 hours minimum throwing on the wheel)

Finished in the beginners and ready for the next step? We don't believe that your only option should be to repeat the beginners course. So, for that reason, we are introducing this new one day throwing larger course to help those who have done a beginners and want to get on to the next stage.
This day course focusses on improvement not on producing mountains of work. You will increase the amount of clay you use throughout the day getting up to a maximum of 2kg (this may vary from person to person). Please note that no work will be kept from this class, it is purely an improvement of skills course. It is for adults 18+. You will be covering:

• Minimum experience requirement 10 hours throwing on the wheel
• Improving technique
• Looking at centring progressively larger pieces
• Improving pulling up
• Helping you to reach your individual goals
• Practice, practice, practice!
• Maximum 6 students in a class (please note that a minimum of 4 spaces must be sold for this course to go ahead)

DATES: Saturday 24th October 10.30am-4.30pm.

COST: £200 INCL all materials.

This course is not suitable for pregnant women. Throwing is very physical. If you have any medical conditions that may impede your ability to do this, please get in touch before you book.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: If you have any medical conditions that may impede your learning such as back problems, problems with hands or knees, any sight issues or balance issues it's advisable that you let us know in advance, preferably before booking. Some conditions can make it difficult to do pottery. Where possible, we will trry and accommodate you as long as we have information beforehand however some conditions may void our insurance.

PREGNANCY: Please note that this course is not suitable for pregnant women as there are health implications to working on the wheel.

If you are found to have withheld information regarding a medical condition or pregnancy that could impact your ability to learn and our ability to teach you, you may be asked to leave the course with no refund.

There are no catch-up options available for this course.

REFUNDS & DATE TRANSFERS: *Please note that if you cancel or request a date transfer 25 days (Monday to Friday) in advance are required. After this period and before the course starts you will only get a 50% refund or transfer if someone else can be found to replace you. There are no refunds or transfers after the start of your course. Please note that some organisers fees are non-refundable. This is out of our control. Cancellations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. Transfer are only available if other dates are available.

GROUP BOOKING: please note, groups of 3 or more people will need to give 30 working days notice for refunds. We are unable to offer transfers to for group bookings.
