You will learn the slab building technique and come away with an unique functioning tealight lantern which you will carve and decorate in your own style with coloured slip.
The class fee covers your tuition, clay, glazing and firing costs. Finished work can be collected 3-4 weeks after the class.
This class is for adults, 16+ only.
What to bring:
If you can bring your own apron and towel, please do so.
What to wear:
Wear comfortable clothing. You will probably get some clay on your clothes but, don't worry, it will wash out easily.

Price includes tuition, clay, glaze and firings. Your pot(s) will be available for collection 2-3 weeks after the class. Postage of ceramics is possible but at an extra cost. Full Refunds can be issued if 7 days notice is given. No refund will be provided if notified less than 7 days however, you can transfer your space to another person - please notify us of the change. If you are signing up for a longer course, please ensure that you have each of those evenings/mornings free to attend. It is not possible to swap to another class at another time or for us to provide you with alternative studio time. Price inclusive of VAT. The minimum number of class participants is 4; the class may be postponed and rescheduled if this minimum number is not reached. We kindly request that you stay at home and do not attend any of the workshop classes if you have or suspect that you have COVID-19. If the Workshop is required to close due to COVID-19, any planned courses will be rescheduled for a later date.
