Details

In August, please join us in welcoming back Hermione to the Millbrook Branch!

Hermione will be delving into myths, such as the story of the unicorn. Myths are stories that can explain natural or historical phenomena that have become ‘legends.’
Many of these stories have supernatural beings or events that cannot
be easily explained except by story. We will look into some of these.

Biography:
I have a background in community work, with teacher training, counselling practices, theology and theatre work all contributing to my perspective on life. I studied community theatre and storytelling in England and began leading workshops, storytelling and coordinating festivals before coming to Canada twenty years ago. I am a member of Storytellers of Canada and am involved with a local group of tellers here in Peterborough. I spend some of my down time canoeing and love being out of wifi range.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Space for approximately 18 people.
