Our Player Development Day is for children who are already playing the game in teams, looking for extra training, enhanced development and further their game. This holiday programme isn't childcare and not suitable for beginners or those not in teams due to contents and ability of those attending.
The age groups are split into U7-U10 and U11-U14, the day is run from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM with a lunch break midway through the day (packed lunch provided by the child).
The aim of the development day is to provide players with a day of football based training, focusing on a combination of learning and engaging football through the delivery various mini football topic sessions within the day.
All training is coached by qualified football coaches, with enhanced DBS, first aid training and safeguarding training. All staff also have a background in working with players in various education environments.
The day also provides the opportunity of individual skill development, with the afternoon consisting of condition games and competitive play.
