This 2 hour continued education course in Ethics offers an open format discussion for fundamental questions of moral philosophy and the objective is to explore the application of ethical theories to real-world problems in the massage therapy industry. Classic and contemporary ethical thought will be examined, engaging in critical analysis of possible scenarios in the work place and developing ethical reasoning skills. Through discussions and application exercises, current licensed massage practitioners will gain an understanding of good and bad actions, ethical character, and methods of philosophical inquiry. The course aims to equip licensed massage practitioners with the tools and skills to make autonomous, informed, comprehensive, and coherent judgments about personal, professional, and public ethical issues.
