Ceramics: Handbuilding Workshop

In this workshop, we will be building a mug from clay slabs. You'll learn the techniques of hand building and the fun challenges of constructing a ceramic mug using your hands and a couple of tools. You'll learn how to make the mug your own by customizing the shape, applying surface textures, and adding handles and other attachments.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to select from four glaze colors. Your mug will be fired and glazed for you and ready to be enjoyed 3 weeks after the workshop takes place. Once completed, your new mug will be food safe, microwave safe and dishwasher safe making it a super functional addition that can be used and loved every day.
