Course Descriptor:
This course is ideal for intermediate students of Manx, who are comfortable with the material
covered in both Keim Nane (Level One) AND Keim 2 (Level 2) of Culture Vannin’s Loayr Gaelg
course.
This course will include topics such as:
• Relative clauses
• Using the copula to express thoughts like “it is a dog”, “is it a bird?” etc
• Masculine and feminine nouns
• Counting with one and two, and mutation
• Imperative forms (commands)
• Using the preposition “da” (for/to) to express a variety of thoughts
Course participants will have lots of opportunities to practise speaking and listening in particular, and gain an understanding of grammar covered.
