Woodcraft for Wellbeing Workshops WGC

Workshop Description:
Reconnect with nature and nurture your wellbeing in these creative, adults-only (18+) woodland sessions. Combining woodcraft with mindfulness, we’ll explore activities like whittling, simple wood carving (including spoon carving), and crafting nature-inspired decorations. These workshops are designed to improve mental health by offering a calming space to relax, focus, and connect with others. Enjoy the warmth of a fire, hot drinks, and snacks while learning new skills and creating something special to take home. No prior experience needed – just bring yourself and a willingness to unwind!

Concessionary spaces are available for those who truly need them (e.g., if you rely on income support, are on a very low income, or receive only a state pension). If you’re able to pay the suggested std ticket price please do, you choose which level! Please consider paying forward a place for someone else. Your support helps ensure these sessions can continue. • A minimum of 6 participants is required for the workshop to run. If fewer than 50% of places are filled, the session will be postponed and rescheduled.
*Be aware these sessions are held outside in the most typical British summer weather, so be prepared for all seasons! There can be last minute cancellations, especially if official weather warnings for high winds, and or rainfall issued. So please check emails the morning of the event if unsure.
