A fun autumn walk for young families which we are delighted offer in association with The Cheese Shed at Nettlebed Creamery! On this short walk we will explore the trees, fruits and nuts that adorn the hedgerows and woods of the Chilterns and the folklore, myth and legends that surround them! Meet the King and Queen of the Forest, discover the trees of magicians’ staffs, magic wands and fairy pipes, and more...! After the walk (or before) treat yourself and the family to some tasty refreshment at the Cheese Shed.
Park and meet at the Cheese Shed, High Street, Nettlebed (by kind agreement of the Nettlebed Creamery)
Please dress appropriately for a walk in the countryside, and having regard to the British weather! Paths may be rough and muddy in part. A small rucksack is useful for personal items such as water, snacks, spare clothing etc. We advise walkers to carry personal first aid.
Dogs on short leads are welcome.
