White Hill, Harpsden, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 4JD
7 spaces available

Details

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the walk leader being unwell, this walk will take place on 23rd October, not 16th October as advertised.

"We will take a walk through an evergreen wood, to get the benefits of phytoncides, the essential oils released in the aromas of trees.

A Danish 2021 study found that breathing in these organic compounds results in lower levels of blood pressure and depression, reduced inflammation and improved immunity.

We will turn off our phones and feel ourselves become calm and relaxed amongst the trees, moving slowly and quietly.

You might want to bring water to sip and a good waterproof as the weather can change quickly. It is advisable to wear layers of clothing as the temperature can fluctuate quite a bit. Please make sure you say if you don't want to be included in any photos."
