Details

This lovely circular walk will take you along farm tracks and across grass fields with one steep descent and a gradual incline on the return. It will be suitable for all ages but please be aware that the route may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. On the way you will see the different arable crops grown on the farm as well as areas grown especially for birds and wild pollinators. Skylarks should be in full song and the handsome male yellowhammers singing their distinctive 'little bit of bread and no cheese' song from the hedgerows. If we are lucky we will see see lapwing and other wading birds in the water meadows where the beef cattle graze. The walk will provide beautiful views across the Thames Valley and Shiplake Marsh local wildlife site.
