This workshop is held IN PERSON and includes access to our self-paced Infant Care 101 course. The option to include our self-paced Lactation 101 course is available as well.
This workshop is ideal for expecting parents. Class topics include what to expect in your baby in the first few hours and days after birth, the physical and emotional postpartum period, signs of illness and knowing when to call the pediatrician, the basics of diapering, umbilical cord care, care for the circumcised and intact penis, and bathing. Tips and suggestions for soothing a fussy baby are discussed as well including touch, massage, and swaddling. The class also covers choosing safe bath and body products for your child and safe co-sleeping. Time is allowed for questions and handouts are provided to take home.
Your in person class attendance includes three months unlimited access to our self-paced course Infant Care 101. Optional three months unlimited access to our Lactation 101 course is also available. You will be provided with access to self-paced course(s) after the in person session.
