Youth Tap Classes (Ages 11–16)
Creative, rhythm-led tap classes for young people, rooted in music, improvisation and collaboration.
A welcoming space to explore rhythm, build skills and connect with others through movement and shared music-making. Classes focus on musicality, coordination and confidence, with opportunities to develop creativity and personal style.
No syllabus — classes are shaped around the group, encouraging individual expression in a supportive environment.
Tap shoes are recommended but not essential to start. We have a tap shoe library available.
Before you arrive
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement
Bring a water bottle
Footwear
Tap shoes are recommended but not essential to start.
Hard-soled shoes are fine (no trainers).
We have a tap shoe library — please let us know your UK size in advance if you’d like to borrow a pair.
Drop off / collection
Please ensure young people are dropped off and collected promptly.
If someone different is collecting your child, please let us know in advance.
Health & wellbeing
Please inform us of any injuries, medical conditions or access needs in advance.
Participants are encouraged to take breaks and work at their own pace.
