5Wk Beginners/Intermediate Hand Building starts Thursday February 25th 6.45-9pm

LEVEL 1/LEVEL 2 HAND BUILDING: This course is for complete beginners/ those who may have done a taster or a beginners course some years ago/for those that want to take their hand building skills to the next level and develop their own projects.

For beginners: We'll show you how to build using techniques such as pinching, coiling and building with slabs as well as using slips and sgraffito to decorate.
For those with some hand building experience: This great new 5 week course helps you improve your techniques, develop your own projects as well as learn new stuff such as Devil's Work and Nerikomi if you want. Stuck for ideas? Try one of our project cards and put your own stamp on it.

A nice, relaxed course that allows you to take things at your own speed. Adults 18+ only.

• Beginners over 4 weeks you will learn the main hand building techniques.
• Experienced hand builders over 4 weeks you will develop your own projects using already learnt techniques and introducing some new ones.
• Stuck for ideas? Use our projects to take you to the next level.
• The 5th week will be taken up with glazing all your work.

COST: £220 Prices include all materials and firings. No hidden extras. Everything you make will be fired.

REFUNDS & DATE TRANSFERS: *Please note that if you cancel or request a date transfer 25 days are required. After this period and before the course starts you will only get a 50% refund or transfer if someone else can be found to replace you. There are no refunds or transfers after the start of your course. Please note that all refunds are minus fees which are non-refundable. Cancellations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. Transfers are only possible to like for like courses and only if we have dates available. Transfers only available if alternative dates have been scheduled.

GROUP BOOKING: please note, groups of 3 or more people will need to give 30 days notice for refunds. We are unable to offer transfers for group bookings.

MISSED CLASSES: If you do miss a session you may be able to do a catch up on a Saturday morning but please note that there is a charge of £60 for this. Unfortunately we cannot make-up any classes free of charge.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: If you have any medical conditions that may impede your learning such as back problems, problems with hands (shaking hands) or knees, any sight issues or balance issues it's advisable that you let us know in advance, preferably before booking. Some conditions can make it difficult to do pottery. Where possible, we will try and accommodate you as long as we have information beforehand however some conditions may void our insurance.
If you have a pacemaker fitted please note that this may be affected by the use of wheels nearby).

PREGNANCY: Please let us know if you are pregnant as you may have to wear gloves for some classes.
If you are found to have withheld information regarding a medical condition or pregnancy that could impact your ability to learn and our ability to teach you, you may be asked to leave the course with no refund.
