Sign-up to weekly Culture Vannin Manx lessons with Elly Cretney on Tuesday lunchtimes (1.10pm - 1.50pm) throughout the academic year (September '26 - July '27).
Lessons will take place at Douglas City Library and will begin on Tuesday 15th September. Culture Vannin Manx classes are for adults aged 16+ and mostly align with Isle of Man school term dates.
This is a brand new Manx class suitable for absolute beginners. As the lesson falls over lunchtime, members of the class are welcome to bring lunch with them (cold food only) if they do not have opportunity to eat before/after the lesson. There is also a tea and coffee machine upstairs (small charge), and a free water dispenser.
Please note: while written material is provided via our course books, it is often not the focal point of a lesson, and plenty of interactive speaking and listening work takes place through whole class and paired activities.
Niveau: Beginner
Class members will receive a copy of the course book, and should bring this to lessons in case used. You may find a pen/pencil useful, too.

The venue is accessible by bus (Duke Street is very near the Lord Street bus station). Lessons take place downstairs, and there is a lift and disabled toilet. Please see the Douglas City Council website for advice on nearest car parks.
